Introducing Linq Book Log

  • Errata corrige update and TechEd 2007

    Hello everybody,
We've just updated the errata corrige of the book, so if you have already downloaded it ... please update your file.

We (Marco and Paolo) like to inform you that we are at TechEd 2007, in Orlando (FL). In case you want to meet us to talk about LINQ and C# 3.0 just let us know, writing an email (info@introducinglinq.com) or a comment on this blog.

    See you and enjoy TechEd'07.

  • Corrections to Introducing Microsoft LINQ

We made publicly available a document containing some corrections that we hadn't the opportunity to catch and correct.

Many of the issues belong to the Visual Basic 9.0 chapter: the book should be aligned with the upcoming release of Orcast Beta 2.

Only the collection initializer (a feature that we described in the book) should be cutted off this release of Visual Studio. Other features we described in the corrections document are not present in Beta 1 but they will be in Beta 2.

  • Welcome to our blog!

    Welcome to our blog!
We are the authors of "Introducing Microsoft LINQ" book: Paolo Pialorsi and Marco Russo.
In this blog we will post updates of the book and interesting information on LINQ in general.
We wrote the book before the Beta 1 public availability. Probably, only now that Orcas Beta 1 have been published a larger number of programmers will start considering this new technology.
We also have a forum that is useful to submit questions and suggestions for our book.
You can freely download the first chapter of “Introducing Microsoft LINQ” and the whole set of book samples.
You can also buy the book online if you like it!
